PUBLIC MASSES RESUME!! Decree from Bishop Sheridan --

Catholics in the Diocese are still dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass on the weekend UNTIL MAY 23RD. If you are elderly, high risk, OR ANYONE who has an underlying condition that makes them susceptible to COVID-19 you should NOT attend Mass in person but should continue to watch recorded or livestreamed Mass.
Fr. Jim has decided to leave the same weekend Mass schedule,
and also to have the masses be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
Please note that the masses will only be allowed to have 50 people in attendance.
We are not yet at the point where we are permitted to fill our churches.
AT EVERY MASS , there will be strict social distancing guidelines.
There will be NO SOCIAL GATHERINGS before or after Mass.
When you arrive at Mass, it will be a little different.

  • We are still only allowed 25% of capacity or a total of 50, as we have been following the guidelines set in place since May of 2020 as per COVID. .

MAY OF 2021

May 1st - NO 9 AM DAILY MASS ON SATURDAY.

May 1st - First Holy Communion for 2nd grade class and their families at 10:00 a.m.

May 3rd thru May 7th - There will NOT be any daily masses, holy hour, or adoration this week.

May 8th/May 9th - Visiting Priest for the weekend.

May 9th- HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

May 11th -- DAILY MASS AT 5:00 PM.

May 16th - Feast of Ascension

MAY 21ST - There will NOT be ADORATION on Friday,

May 21st due to a memorial service.

May 23rd - Feast of Pentecost. Sunday Obligation will be removed as of this date unless you are at high risk. Please refer to parish newsletters, bulletins or the Diocesan webpage, and also the Colorado Catholic Conference of Bishops for more information.

May 23rd - Trip to San Luis Valley Stations of the Cross. Meet at church parking lot at 1:00 p.m. (Please refer to bulletin and newseltter for more information.)

MAY 31ST - MEMORIAL DAY - Parish office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 31st.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENTS --

WEDNESDAYS -- 12 to 1:00 p.m.

FRIDAYS - We will be having Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Fridays from 10 am. to 4:00 p.m. We ask that you please practice safe distancing in the Church. Sign up forms are located on the credenza table by the front doors so that you can sign up for an hour of adoration. (IF HOURS ARE NOT FILLED, then Adoration will only be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.)

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - (During the school year) Classes start up in September and then finish the end of April.

K - through 7th grade meet on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to 10;15 a.m. in the lower level of the parish office. . Please refer to your calendar regarding dates. (One Sunday a month they do not have class).

Youth Ministry - Grades 5th -8th - meet once a month on Sundays from 800 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Please refer to your FAITH FORMATION calendar for times and dates.

Confirmation Class meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (Three Wednesday each month.) Please refer to your weekly bulletin for schedule.

ADULT EDUCATION:

ADULT EDUCATION GROUP -- Meets every Thursday morning at 9:10 a.m. at the Parish Office. Discussion and reflection on the Sunday Gospel.

WOMENS GROUP - Ladies are welcome to come every MONDAY evening to enrich your Catholic Faith, and enjoy fellowship with other ladies of our parish. Meetings are every Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Parish Office.

MEN'S GROUP - Meet every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Parish Office.
